Gday all, new to here but have met 1 or 2 of you and figured i'd better get on here.

I'v got a Triumph Daytona 955i currently getting a custom frame built in with Shaun at Pommy Choppers. not quite a street fighter but not really a chopper either.

Welcome aboard mate. Were you one of the geezers on Shaun's stand at the Story Bridge Show last year?

i never concidered them before i borrowed a mates T595 when i lived in england. it was a 40 mile round trip to work and back, i came back with over 120 miles on it. must have got lost on the way home. then when i was looking for a ride here this one came up at the right price. i was just looking for almost any thing to use as a downer bike to chop up. now i have it i'm stoked and have become a bit of a triumph head. before i never really cared what the badge on the tank said.

Typical bloody Shaun, not a poster in sight, yet he has a pair of hippy undies hanging up on his shelf!

Be good to see what you come up with here mate. Can't work out what is in between a Streetfighter and Chopper frame - most interesting...

i suppose a modern chopper. and not one of those gay OCC things.

to my knowledge street fighters started out as smashed sports bikes being smashed and put back on the road for a budget and have evolved into what they are now.

and choppers started as cheap ex army/police bikes being stripped of all the crap and (bobber) and then being chopped for more rake for better high speed stability (chopper).

Just make sure you check your wallet on the way out mate, Shaun has been known to help himself on more than one occasion. Oh, and make sure you check the welds, is tighter than a fishes arse so will probably do only half a job as usual;)
