getting a few stories floating around at the moment about a production based version of the MotoGP Honda race bike.

What we have heard is 500 units world wide, around $35-40K US and about 0.8kg/rwhp in road trim.

you only realise how badly you got ripped off when it comes in a 6" box with 'toy does not include batteries' on it.

seriously though - can you handle 16,000 rpm all day on the fools run?

I guess all the GP manufacturers will have a 990 cc donk without a home now that next years racing comes down to 800 cc.
Probably inevitable that these will hit production in some form sooner or later.

One of these large.

Do you know it has been 11 years since the passing of John Britten. It is a shame because i dont think Ducati would be ruling the world superbikes championship if the britten was still being raced :)
