Hello everybody
A full on new guy here. Touching on 40 and had a bike licence for all of 18 months.
Did a lot of downhill mountain biking back before the attack of the gut and was doing some road riding, again on a bicycle to get rid of it when a mate let me take his bike with an engine for a spin. I got the bug BAD.
Got on a cagiva planet (naked mito) and started modding. The problem is, as it was always going to be, that it has no power and no matter how hard I throw it at corners it cannot satisfy.
Which brings about the question ... why am I here?
Firstly I cannot leave well enough alone and have to modify everything I own. Therefore finding a bike I want to upgrade to has been almost impossible. Everything out there needs a little tweaking to make it what I want. This led me to the pages here in search of what is possible, what has been done and for general inspiration.
So to my short list of bikes to upgrade to:
A new street triple R, or a well modded oil cooled gsxr 1100 (with the dream of a Harris frame in the future).
This list has been known to change over the course of a five minute discussion with almost any rider.
So g'day and feel free to mess with my mind by increasing my options.
Dave
