Hi Guys
i heard you can fit a gsxr1100 sprocket carrier on a later gsxr /busa wheel for its smaller hub and let you run a smaller diameter rear sprocket , currently the smallest i can do is 36 but 32 fits the 1100 apparently..
but which 1100
anyone have a spare kicking around or know much about this to comment ??

greg

all the 1100 and 750's that take the 17x5.5 wheel share the same sprocket carrier. if there is a difference it would only be the offset. for the exercise you could use any pre srad sprocket carrier that goes with the 17x5.5 wheel. i have a gix600/750 k sereis 5.5 wheel under the house and a early sprocket cover so i could have a look at it for you if you want.

The GSX 11 sprocket carrier fits straight into the straight spoke Gixer wheels (SRAD onwards, TL, Bus, etc)
I've got a spare here Greg, email me your address & I'll get it in the mail for you tomorrow.

Thanks D
thats my 240 mph gearing sorted then,
now just need to make the power long enough for 2 runs without breaking or burning stuff.

Thanks Darren
Arrived today, couple of collars getting made so i can fit bearings to suit the big axle and sleeve to a neat fit in the wheel & it will work perfect.
Also have to get a 32 tooth sprocket blank done to fit the hub .....then lookout

I would like to better the current 1000cc record with the 750, no easy task at 240mph and will need around 400hp to do it..
