hey I mentioned the other day I scored (well I had to pay a $35 "bin scab fee" hehe)
a gs500 frame, and just did a revs check on it.
Not stolen, but its a repairable write off. impact damage (as always)

(EDIT: Okay I took some pics from different angles.. and its not as "straight as" I thought.
Probably needs to be put in a jig, It seems the rear section (where your arses go) is a bit mong. (I thought it was just the tire sitting all skewed)

I'm gonna drop by Dave Kellet and see what its worth to get it straightened, He completely stripped, straightened and rebuilt the zxr250 for 900 bucks a few years ago so I'm guessing this wont cost much at all. I'd prefer to just let everyone put a bid in and sort it out themselves tho.

whatayas reckon?

Okay just a bit of an update if anyone is interested. I took it to dave kellet. he said its useable, but Its not something you can throw on the jig and straighten out accurately without an engine and a few other bits to go with it, so you can be sure the bolt holes are all going to line up.
Its best suited to someone with the same bike (or engine to bolt in it) who needs a frame. also probably helps if you have the other bolt in part of the engine cradle (if thats what its called) and the support that goes from the steering head to the middle of the frame.
He said its not very expensive to have it straightened, as compared to buying a new frame ready to use.

SO, if anyones interested let me know, otherwise I'll probably just chuck it on ebay and see what happens.
