I am not sure about that Deano, although i am more than happy to be corrected. the Srad shock is a fair bit longer than the 85-95 gixers, i have one here i could sling your way to try tho, i have posted pictures in one of my for sale threads. it won't fit on my gixxers, 86, 90 and 95. i also have a srad swingarm which is more or less a straight bolt in job after you have made up a sleeve for the swingarm bolt to the swing arm bearings. it is a fair bit shorter than the standard swing arm tho, and has clearence issues with the bracing and subframe. but all these things can be got around....... eventually :)

Just to clarify on this, are we saying a late model slingshot shock will fit a slabbie? I bought a r6 shock to fit on my slabbie 1100 but being the dickhead I am I got the one with the vertical resevior which then hits the s/arm at full compression. I'm now looking for alternatives and if it's longer that stock that will be great as I'm worried about ground clearance with the 17" wheels.

cheers
danny

I've put a '07 R1 (horizontal resevoir) shocker in my 750 Slabbie. Bit of a squeeze but it fits and seems to work well.

Mr DCRacing any chance you could post a pic of the shock, I did find a pic on some old thread of 3 shocks you had for sale and none of them will fit, The one i am lookin for has a remote res and a fork fitting at the bottom it was on the water cooled 93 WN,94 WP and 95 WR models
Cheers

I have one might need a seal kit through it and a re gas. Lewt me know if you are keen.

FYI a gsxr 1000 k1 to k7 will fit into a wp water cooled 1100 93. and i have fitted a CBR 1000 2004 shock into my gsxr 1100 wp 93 water cooled fitted fine and works great. see old skool suzuki fo a spreadsheet that has shock length and travel specs

OK still searching for a shock, really need a good one have not got time to get one re-built, and pref a 750 as the spring is lighter than the 1100.
