Just thought you guy's might like a look at a "work in progress"
Been messing with a friends GSR600.
So far we've

*Changed out velocity stacks for GSXR600 ones.
*Modified air box
*DNA Filter
*Powercommander (with 02 sensors disabled)
*4 degree ignition advance
*Cat removed
*Removed a bunch of weight

Ah yes. The only true Strteetfighter tool: The Hacksaw.
Stocky, you go off mate. Fuckin' top job!
This is almost like a "how to" mate. You got any more shots and wanna write a bit of explaining of what you did? I can add it to the HOW TO pages if you do.

I was really excited when the GSR came out, coz I rode the K5 Gixxer 6 and thought it was grouse, little power wheelie off throttle at 4 or 5 000 rpm - just what I like (well, I ride a Bandit...).
Anyways, I was early to ride a GSR (Suzi Oz's test bike) and I was sad. Compared to the Gixxer it went like a busted arse :(
If the tuning was all like the GSXR I might have bought one, but as standard they have nothing down low, all top end. Not what a naked should be.
So that will be grouse if you get that thing stonking like a Gixxer!!!
i like what you've done there, but couldn't he have bought a gsxr600 and done that to it? that way he wouldn't have to do the engine mods...?
what the hell where suzuki thinking with that bread box?

Yep the stock exhaust is a real worry.
The one in the pics is a slip on for a ZX6R
You cut about 20mm out of the middle and turn the pipe a tiny bit.
Weld it back on, weld on the last 3 inches of the stock pipe and "walla" it fits.
Custom strap and a bit of hacksaw work and there you have it.
Couple more pics with the LED tail lights and the proper muffler strap fitted.

Stocky, is that you in the first photo? I just looked at it again and the face is great! You're like a man possesed: evil smile and wide eyes, looks like you're thinking "I'll get you you bastard". The result is great mate and those LED individual light strips was somethig I was thinking of a while back but never got around to. Get them lit up so we can see them in action mate.
