Does anyone know of any calipers with 80mm centre mounting holes ?
The cbr400 calipers on the wifes bike are pretty stuffed and rather than spend out on new pistons and seals I fancied putting some modern brakes on it for her.
Only one I have found so far is '09 VFR800 small 6 pots.

Triumph have twin piston sliders on several models including the America that have 80mm caliper holes and I've found none except after market that will upgrade it with a 4 or 6 piston. I'll get around to making another prototype mount to wack a 2 piston I got off a board member and you'll probably have to do the same .

Don't you just buy a set of calipers that you want to use and get the cardboard out (ACAD if you have it) and make plates to suit??
That's what I've always done, my 5 cents worth.

You're right ..you do...But wouldn't it be sooo much easier if you happened to find a set that bolted straight on ;)

Geez I had never thought of something so simple.
I just figured it was never possible (Nothing Available) and the plates were always the go.
As they say I guess K.I.S.S.
