LOL @ little Large.
You can buy after market ones from the states for $62 unpainted and no pad. Work the sums. http://www.airtech-streamlining.com/suzuz/GSXR7501986-87.htm
An original Suzuki part (If you can find one)would require an extra Zero in the figure your thinking

'89 won't fit Mike. '89 is Slinghsot, they were a two piece seat arrangement (as Camlark's photo). Slabbies (as you know) are one piece front and back.
Check the knowledge bank: http://www.suzukicycles.org/GSX-R-series/GSX-R1100.shtml
The Slingshot ones needed the rear seat removing where as the slabby ones sat over the seat.
This is what you are chasing:

If it's no good to Large I'll take that one Mark, I'm 99% sure it'll fit my '90 Gix 11 - can any of the Gixerphiles confirm that?

Alas for that is a slingshot cowl, the original request was for a slabbie unit. Nothing gaffer tape won't make fit though
