Thought id build myself a new work stand today seeing as i need a second one for the Kat.
Went around the industrial bins (it a public holiday up here)
Found a heavy duty steel fire door, Large gave me the front wheel chocks, found some steel for the legs in another bin, Rubed it back, painted it Signal Red which i found in another bin, added a GT stripe, had to pay for that from supercheap, which cost $2.99. Legs are drying now and will be on tonight, not bad for $2.99 and an afternoons work.

Thats awesome, I see you too have a perfectly functioning other peoples crap radar! I love rolling throught the burbs on kerbside collection day or rummaging through bins in industrial estates.. infact if work doesnt pick up we'll be doing it for food haha..

How are you getting the bikes up there mate? Some funky arsed ramp as well or just a plain old plank?

Just roll em up a ramp/plank. Easy as. The stand is only 500mm tall. Perfect working height.

Trick Stands - I have one also. "Trick" drop the T and you get Rick, as in Rick Nelson, also known as Rexie. Not sure if he's still making them mate? Try emailing him.
