So this is my next project....needs a fair bit of TLC so its going to be fully stripped. It has after market Coerce rearsets, billet clip-ons and a st/st exhaust. We still have the new black screen from her old one too.
The frame and wheels will be powder coated and it will get a custom paint job with some new graphics.

First stage complete....only nasty I found was a bent and badly straightened fork...they're pitted to hell anyway so not really an issue.
Found a few bolts missing...minor stuff like a subframe frame :o
On the plus side it looks like its got $1000 worth of Sansei clip-ons and Coerce rear sets  And the st/st exhaust is light as.
The previous owner certainly got his moneys worth from the front sprocket......

Had a bike go into a local shop with the chain pulled
tight as a F#ckin' bow string. Couldn't have pulled it
any tighter if they'd tried.
When questioned the kid/owner said...
"It has to be like that, else it just makes a noise
and won't go!"
Guess what the front sprocket looked like ?

Thought it was about time for an update...been busy with work etc blah blah.......

Frame has been etch primed and Satin blacked. Engine gloss black with st/st engine set. Purple Samco hoses on order.
The subframe has been powder coated...was $50 min cost at blasters...$60 to have it coated....
http://www.asfphotos.com/upload/1246261939.jpg

Wheels are off to the powdwer man this week, swing arm is being prepped for paint.
Bought one half of a 1098 Ducati muffler set...dirt cheap on ebay and looks the dogs...
Bodywork is being stripped at work...the seat unit had 1.7mm of paint on it...I measured a bit that I peeled off !!!! And now it weighs a lot less too......

So she thought her arse-end was too fat...(no...the bikes)...thought about the 916 tail...
Decided to have a photoshop session to see if the stock tail could be cut down....

versus 916
http://www.asfphotos.com/upload/1250263067.jpg

Not quite as good but a lot less work involved for me right now....I gotta get this done before my frame is ready.....

http://www.asfphotos.com/upload/1250585329.jpg

I hope to be able to cut the tail down a bit more but I'm gonna wait until all the electrics etc are on before that decision is made..not sure how much of it goes under the stock tail.

Offered up the Yzf 125 tail to the bike....[}:)]
Wish it been as easy to fit to my frame :(
http://www.asfphotos.com/upload/1259381467.jpg

Now I just have to move the exhaust in line with the tail.
Its a ducati muffler, easy to seperate the parts and modify to fit.

I have also been sorting the muffler using half of the carbon fibre tube I bought and a few bits'n'pieces I had lying around.
Only question now is 'Will she like it ?'
Oh, and what model is the fairing from Z750 or Z1000...and what year ??
