Well I ended up buying the CBR600 F3 not too bad overall. Will need a service and a tune up and then in for rego. Just going to use it as a commuter while I finish my Turbo Fairmont and then it will be time to fighter it.

Cheers
Paul

If I can get it tidied up in time, still doing reno's on the house.

As for the username it is one that I use because no one else has it and it is easy to remember :)

Changed the plugs, oil and filter. Running Motul 5100 in it running heaps better now. It turns out that the plug lead had come off one of the plugs so that wasn't helping. it needs new brake pads as well so I will do that before rego. What are the recommendations on pads for something like this?

I reccomend you use brake pads,Asbestos is a bit out of fashion.Bronze scintered is probly better for offroad bikes. just buy what ya bike shop sells...and check ya disk thickness before safety cert, mechanics in QLD pick on this.

well it went for the RWC today and passed with flying colours, just have to take it in for rego this week and we will be in business. Once the turbo conversion on the Fairmont is done and the kitchen is in it will be time to play :)

Clive, we can leave it for the time being and when you have a look at it tell me what you think. It seems to be running ok at the moment and I think that it just needs a good ride to get the juices flowing again. Already looking at prices for moto bars and headlights. I have decided that the rear that I want to fit is a K4 gixxer rear and seat the look like they were made to fit. There is a guy in the States that has done one and it looks really good.
