People to ride with in Gold Coast

Hi all
Just in the proccess of joining ASF.
I have moved into the Hinterland on the Gold Coast. One of the reasons is for the awesome rides available in the area. Don't know any bike riders in the area yet so I thought I might be able to track some down on this site.
I ride a GSX 1400. I take the wife on some of my rides which is the reason I purchased this bike, otherwise it would probably be a GSX R and I can't afford both.
So it's off with the top box for a "fang" or put it on with the wife for a cruise.
A lot of the time I can ride during the week as well as the weekends.
So anyone who is interested in an on the edg" ride or a sedate cruise I would like to hear from you.
If you are wondering why this has changed - my missus has done a spell check! I'm a better rider than a typer!!

Ride from Brissy.
Either North.....Somerset, Esk, Kilcoy, Kenilworth, Hampton etc,
or South.........Boonha, Canungra, QM Falls, Advance Town,
Beachmont, Tamborine, Two Pines, etc.
Did a quick 360k spin down around your area Sunday.
Very good. The road between Boonah and Beaudesert is good if you turn up the gas, Beachmont sorts out the boys too.

There are several Brisbane forums where you can find a group ride most Saturdays/Sundays.
They range from Family cruises to Full-bore nutter with bikes down most rides.

Lance and Bri are both members on here (but not very active)
and are into their Trackdays / Sportsbikes and weekend rides.
Both are quick enough to make my Busa and B-King work hard
through the twistys.

There will be another 1770 run later this year, but we may do a
pre-run route check sooner if anyone is interested.
About 500/600k's of twistys each way with a motel/pub near the
beach Saturday night.

Be warned, this forum does not have a great history of ride outs
as those who have tried in the past will tell you.
