How much are you chaps paying for a litre of unleaded in Australia it's 85pence a litre here in rip off britain which works out to about au$208c.
it was up to £1+ a short while ago which would have made it au$244c for a litre

Not that bad yet Alfie but everyone still bitches about paying $1.10 upwards.You'll be happy to pay it I imagine.was up around $1.50 mark a coupla months back.

alfie diffrent states have diffrent amounts of tax put on the fuel by the govenment, up here in Townsville ( Queensland ) at the moment it is about $1.10 depending on time of week and fuel station you go to

Alfie, unless things have changed in England, there is one thing about servos here that will really fuck with your head. You can go past your local servo in the morning and it will be $1.15 a litre, come past again around lunch time and it is $1.35, then in the evening it's $1.25. It changes like the fuckin' wind. When you question them about what the fuck they are playing at they say "Oh, prices just went up so we have to change accordingly". What!? Can you imagine going to the cinema and then someone coming around midway through the film to tell you the price had just gone up and you owe them some more money? What a bunch of shit. When I first got here it was 56 cents a litre and there were V8s everywhere. Now, just like in England years ago, they are a dying breed. Shame.

$1.20 in Victoria you say?? Well us dumbass Territorians have to pay between $1.35, and depending how far down the 'track you are, you could pay up to 1.60, or more. I pay about $1.40 a litre for 95 octane Premium [on a cheap day, have payed up to 1.55], I have to , as the bike has 12-1 Wiseco's, and pings like a tabletennis match if I use ordinary unleaded.

The thing that shits me. I pay 1.27 in paddington (brissy) ride 5 minutes into the next suburb and its 10c cheaper - dirty mofos.

Saw fuel for 96 cents a litre today, and if you have a shopper docket you can save 30 cents so that makes it 66 cents a litre. Im off to Wollies. ;) :D

So thats a fuck sight cheaper than here then even when you take into account wages cost of living blah blah blah etc.

we are paying 88%in tax duty and then the bastards add vat at 17.5% so that makes it 105% tax on petrol in the uk.

And when i finally get on a plane out of here the bastards will charge me airport tax at 10% of the ticket price cunting fuckwits :(

My brother moved to south Australia (salisbury) last October and he said it rained for three days when he arrived he put it down to the brit government having one last go at him.
Now in his words he has said there is no fucking way he would even consider moving back :D:D
