what you here is one of the slowest fighter builds known to man kind!:(it goes from what happens when racing is unsuccessful:( to where i am currently. i will be using a zx7rr single tail unit which is currently being prep up to undercoat like the tank(as seen in the pic) i reckon i might stick with the satin black, what do you guys think? anyway other mods include:
top yoke conversion including a fly fatbar
after market woodcraft rearsets (thanks turbokat!)
k&n air filter
carbs rejetted
ignition advancer
what will be a custom zorst
new headlight unit
removal of all gauges for the time being
and thats enough just incase the missus reads this!!
tell me what you guys think?any ideas?

it looks trick already - shame you have to put a radiator back on - the alloy block stands out nice and crisp.

How about dropping a couple teeth on the front sprocket for a bit of wheelie action? Did it on my 12r and love the extra acceleration over the 30 kmph i'll never see above 200.

Fuck mate, you did a good job at the race track. High side?

As for the black fighter version, that tank and frame look trick. You have the lights tucked in nice and at the right hieght also and the forks go well. Should be nice mate. Be interested to see how the RR tail unit goes as my first thoughts would be it would look to big and fat and take the weight and muscle away from the front.

making porgress nicely, bleck chassis very nice, satin blsck tank etc would look nice but as said by Gix in a diffrent thread that once you start riding it, where your legs rub on the tank it will make it shiny, can't polish it, just ask anyone with a satin black firestorm or satin black bike, still it a nice look anway, as for the rest of the bike, looking good and as fimp said more PICS

It's coming along nicely. You'll find with the arrival of the warmer weather you'll get a lot keener to have it ridable. I know I want my fighter finished already.

cheers guys thanks for the positive feedback. to answer you first gix it wasnt a highside but close, if anyone knows mallala its was around the back on a long lefty going 3rd to 4th lost the back tank slap exit stage right!! im thinking around 160ish when the back went so i would have slowed a little bit before touching down!!
and as for the sprockets it is only 1 down on the front and when i get a new chain and sprockets i will go another down on the front and a couple up on the back for good measure!! the rr tail will do for the mean time but im thinking cut down zx6r 03 model eventually...just want to ride for starters

here are some picks showing the exhaust that i cut down to get rid of the damage it had on it. im not overly happy with it as it sits out a long way so it doesnt hit the swingarm. i will eventually do something different with it but this will do to get it going. also you can see the rearsets i got off turbokat that are to fitted now. should progress nicely now as my wife has had our second child and is mobile again, so more time in the shed for me:D.......thats the plan anyway [B)]

Ever thought about jacking it up at a steeper angle just behind the footpegs, and out at a similar or greater angle, hat's what I'm planning for mine. Got the idea from an X4 Honda )green'n all) that was in streetfighters a while ago.

Here's a side on of it http://www.streetfighters.com.au/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=2956&SearchTerms=X4

It was in streetfighters mag a while ago, can post more pics of you want
