Met him a couple of weeks ago at one of his gigs
he put on a fooking great show.
had a chat with him and he seems to be
a nice guy.

apparently his biggest claim to fame was as the lead singer of iron maiden, then after that he doesnt seem to have really done anything of note, lots of solo projects and a few small time bands

Wasn't Bruce Dickinson the lead singer of Iron Maiden? Or is this the early guy they had from the 70's?

This is the guy before they got Bruce Dickinson from Samson (he's still not the first singer though), he sang on the original Iron Maiden album and Killers but they booted him because of his cocaine and beer problems (or so Steve Harris states).

Where did you meet him Frank? What's his current band?

Dianno is on the right by the way if anyone is still wondering....

Paul " I drunk all the beer in the bar" Day was the very first singer [he now lives in newcastle NSW and sings for a band up there called the gringos lol
then came Dennis Wilcock [hes the one i remember from the Ruskin arms unfortunately a complete dickhead as is bourne through inthe fact he now sells insurance ] .....

met him in a bar in limerick city
he did and still does drink alot.
for me bruce is the man singing wise
but full of shit.
i like dianno think he was and is a great singer.
Not sure about his band's name Si
cos it was members from different Irish bands that
were playing with him on the night.

Was bored in JB Hi Fi last week and bought the Iron Maiden box set. Havent seen those videos and heard some of the songs in 20 years. Recognised that guy ( Paul ) from the women in uniform film clip. Black spandex pants, black pirate shirt and cowboy type boots, what a look.
