Is it ok to install a motor bike battery verticall??

Spend the money and get one of the gell filled one's and they can be mounted upside down, sideways, back to front ect........

It dosnt have any screw caps. Does that mean it is a gell filled one?

It should have it marked, but some acid filled are sealed no maintenance types best to check manufactures website for specs.

Gell filled no worries, not sure about an acid filled sealed one though.

I moved the standard jelly battery on my Bandit 12 from its
usual battery box and lay it on its side with the tool kit
in the tail to make room for the NOS solenoids.
Battery worked for years, no problem, dispite my bodgy extended
battery leads using bolted on car starter motor leads...LOL.
