After a few long discussions we have decided to go back to the original idea and track down another 400..either CBR or ZXR.
She has had reservations about the 'project lightweight zzr' and I'll admit so have I.
Trying to get the weight down is proving harder than first thought..it seems there is a cutoff point for things like forks where they cannot be made any lighter.
The worry is that after all my attempts to achieve the goal it may not work...a lot of time and effort and no end result.
She knows she is able to confidently ride a cbr400 as she has had several and travelled across Europe and the UK on them.
So for now thats the new plan...Cbr/Zxr 'fighter.
Maybe once she's more confident she may move up but for now getting her safely on 2 wheels is the priority.
All the parts I have available will be listed in the members area later...
