Katana Not revving out

Little Large got his Kat running for AFR but it wouldn't rev out cleanly past about 5000rpm.

We've got the carbs out to clean them up and a new set of plugs. Anything else we should be doing?

Its absolutley fucked and he should give it to me and be happy with his GSXR

Check the alternator for charge/no charge. the batteries on these things tend to get undercharged, and the bike will free rev perfectly, but once under load, they break down around 6k...I should know, I spent an entire drag season trying to find the fault.

paint it red and itll go faster ....seriously tho it was a bit lumpy the battery theory sounds about right dont forget to claen the tank and put an inline filter init for no

best to rule out the battery and charging system

but to be sure one of these on each side of the tank should do the trick ;)
