I have lots of ideas of what i want to do with a bike when i get to Auss one idea i have at present is to keep my gixxer1216 with it's full fairing and buy a gsx14 to fighter and maybe turbo which i have vented on here before.

But I have recently been thinking about a gsx1400 engine into a slingshot frame has anyone done this before and would the engine fit.

The idea at the moment is to buy an old slingshot 1100 in need of a bit of attention to do this

I think this idea is probably the one i will go for as it appeals to me a fuckin lot and i can take my time waiting for the right parts to come along at the right price while still ripping around on my tuned gixxer yep i think thats the one.

Any advice will be good :)

the gsx14 into a early gixxer chassis has been done befor apperently, there was a thread about it on oldschoolsuzuki, go there and do a search and if that dont turn up anything then ask.

We'll that's that idea out the window then just checked on the old skool site.
The general consensus is dont bother there is a fuck load of frame re-engineering to do plus loads of other stuff all for an under powered over waight engine with very few tuning parts available for it there shit and dont bother one of the quotes was.

Now I am realy fucking confused as to what to build I love gixxers but every body has done just about everthing you can think of to them along with the bandits.

Maybe an sv or tl

The worst thing you could ever do to a gixxer is put a gsx1400 anchor in it.[xx(]

alfie put a big bore kit into it i'm saving up for one for my 90 model motor ( kit size 1371 ) there are many diffrent sizes avalible just pick one that suits your wallet

I have done this to my gixxer already .

I have recently fitted a 1216 big bore kit, Gas flowed head, Camotion high lift cams on slotted sprockets and dialed in,Orient express valve springs, dyna coils and 2000 ignition, Taylor leads, A.P.E cylinder studs and nuts, A.P.E billet cam chain tensioner, 38mm Mikuni rs flat slide carbs with K&N air filters,Barnet clutch spring and plates, Cobra race series ss 4 into 1 exhaust, Nitron street and track rear shock, ABE wave style rear disc. ABE wave front discs, Tokico six pot calipers and braided brake lines and progresive racetech fork springs.Hel oil cooler and lines.

And then there is this 1371 with gas.
Heat has been a major problem (without using gas) and a second oil cooler has been fitted which has been linked into the oil feed pipes at the back of the engine.
Came to the conclusion for the overheating was due to the orient express block not having any airways between the cylinders as per stock block

Someone needs to whack two GSXR 1127 blocks onto a common crankcase/crankshaft for 2254 (or 2742[:0]) ccs

Nothing wrong with what you have there atm.

Why not build another identical but go the turbo on it as well, like a before and after or wild and damn insane (a bit above mild and wild)?

I know of a bloke around Brisbane that has taken a Katana out to around 1780cc and it held, maybe still holds, the A/SB record at Willowbank. What's the biggest capacity GSXR anyone has seen? I think I have seen a 1430cc.

Yea, that's the hacker. He hacked into an old account (Alli) and used it. This could be his undoing, hence why it's still there.

uhu, they hack into the first name on the list (by ID) Alli was the first registered name that still exists.

Check the members list and do a sort by date joined (Click it twice to get the firsts dates as it will give you the latest dates otherwise). Interesting reading. Only a few of tyhe first joiners still with us, noteably, Ozkat, J7-11 and Chopaweeza.

I was in his shed the other day. he is playing with a GSX14 at the moment. twin turbo i think and i cant rember the CC's he was going for. but if it's suzuki you want to play with he know's what can be done and can do it.
