I would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and well wishes during this tragic time. Jeremy thought of all of you as family.

Unforunately Jeremy was taken from us on Thursday 2nd of April in Mudgee on his way to spend a great weekend with all of his ASF mates.

My thoughts are with Billy Whiz, Rockhard and Rocket who helped Jeremy fulfil his Sydney dreams of AFR 09 and taking his bike around Bathurst.

Myself and the baby are going well and taking each day as they come.

I will keep everyone informed as to our arrangements here in WA so that you can all remain a part of Jeremy's memories.

Please use this thread to share all of your memories and photos with me and others.

All my love,
Amanda Hansord, (Jeremy's beloved handbrake:)

You never stop losing bike riding friends[V], I didn't know bullfrog apart from a couple of sites we belong to, but it still hits you that you have lost another likeminded soul, the important thing now is to not forget, so Jeremy you will go in the memory bank mate with a lot of good blokes, and Amanda, I know this is a really hard time for you, keep your head up love and dont leave the forum you will get plenty of support here.

RIP Jeremy.

Everyone who knew him will know how lucky they were, he was a quality guy with a great family and a great future and I know I speak for more than just myself when I say that I am a better person for knowing him.

Amanda, he was a lucky man to have the time he had with you. Not everyone has a wife who is so supportive of their love of bikes and riding.
My thoughts are with you and both of your families, you need only to ask if you need anything from any of us.

These photo’s from our AFR08 ride are how I will remember Jeremy, a bloke who loved his family, loved bikes and loved life.

If I told you I don't have tears in my eyes right now I'd be lying. I got the news on Thursday morning when I had to take my second trip back to the Gold Coast to get bar supplies and ASF gear. I felt so helpless and at the same time somehow responsible. The guys that spent any time talking to Jeremy will know my pain exactly, he was the warmest, friendliest guy you could ever wish to meet.

Of all the people that were attending this year I felt more excitement from the WA guys and especially Jeremy than anyone else and I was looking forward to seeing that infectious smile of Jeremy's again, I was even going to buy a box of red wine during the trip I was on as I remember me and him were the only guys that admitted to liking red wine more than beer and got shot down for it last year! The WA guys had made the effort to come all the way from the other side of the country for our event and to know this awful thing had happened and effected all of them crushed me.

At AFR08 Jeremy spent the entire time on the drag strip doing whatever he could, be it riding, marshalling, helping riders, lugging things about, he just didn't stop - he was in his element and Amanda didn't complain at all. Jeremy smiled constantly and would never stress, this is how I remember him.

Right behind me: physically and with his support...

http://www.streetfighters.com.au/images/events/AFR_08/photos/large/DSCF4033.jpg

I vow to never let the name Jeremy Hansord be forgotten by ASF and would like to dedicate something to him, a "Bullfrog" trohpy will happen for sure (even if AFR collapses) but I would like to have something on this website as well because it is one thing that I can control totally and it will be seen by all that view it. I have thought about this for a few days and wanted to make a new section dedicated to him, but not to commemorate fallen riders as Jeremy was too cheery for that, something that Jeremy would have liked, so please tell me your suggestions and I will make it happen.

Amanda - My sincere condolances go out to you from the bottom of my heart and I feel proud to have met you guys together, if I can do anything to help you or your family please let me know and I will do everything I possibly can.

Si,

My two suggestions I have to offer for the memory of Jeremy would have to be renaming the Bragging board in his honour as he was hooked in improving his riding especially on the drag strip. The bragging board once renamed could use the pic that Des posted up of Jeremy in action at the motorplex in Perth.

http://www.streetfighters.com.au/forum/upload/107329201852268.jpg

The second suggestion would be rename the drag racing thread area in his honour as well.

I know it mainly focuses on the drag racing side of the site, but from what I knew of Jeremy, he loved going to the motorplex with Morry (Rockhard).

I never had privilege of meeting you Jeremy, but my hart sank when I heard the news that you had gone mate.

You were liked on both sides of the planet Fella and from what I have read on here so far, you had a massive impact on the people that really knew you.

I never got to down a beer with you Fella, or split my sides laughing with you.
I just know there are people on here that did, and to those people I want to say “Remember those times, my thoughts go with you”.

To Amanda I say “I’m so sorry for your sad loss dear lady, please try to reflect on the words of others, and know that you had a diamond that’s now a bright star”.
