Spotted this in a bike mag today. Looks like we may all have to buy Dukes, or change the name of the Forum[:0]

Bit of a joke really. I thought "streetfighters" where built buy guys like you blokes on here, not on some mass produced production line.

Anyway, when we all buy our new Ducati "Streetfighter", we can all meet at the local coffee shop for a skinny latte' and a warm fat free poppyseed muffin and compare the exact same bikes we all have.:D

Everyone in Aus used the name forever but nobody bothered to trademark it, until the Yanks stole it.

well if ducati secured the rights maybe a certain magazine got offered a substantial amount of money.

I don't think you understood what I was getting at. I have nothing against Ducatis. I like Ducatis.
I just disagree that they can call it a streetfighter off the factory floor - and then buy the rights to the name.
