Some may be interested in this...
As some of you will know Pete's other job is to escort people into high risk enviroments,his recient trip saw him take a 60 minutes crew into Somalia. It's airing this Sunday, although you won't see his face you may catch a glimpse of the back of his head. Look for the Shady looking character in the background.;)

A short history:

13years in 3RAR as a paratrooper, left at rank of Sergeant. Most of that as a Sniper then Sniper Supervisor.

3 years on-off in middle east, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Dubai, etc.

last 2 years a few trips in Africa, Kenya, Puntland, Somalia

Been in a couple of contacts, and a few bombings.. Still here, relativly sane...just!!

I knew a bloke (Tech Support) that managed to kick himself in the nuts during a nice landing on the Para course. Needless to say his jumping days were over.

Dad did 20yrs with 1st Batt Scots guards ,2 stints in belfast saw him out,which is why he advised me and my brothers to stay out he topped out a RSM
Grandad did 15yrs with the Royal Navy, 5 during WW2 as a CPO
