They will fit but no gain on brake strength. Save your money and get a set of 6 potters off a ZX6/9, SRAD GSXR or Busa.

thanks for that. It wasn't that I wanted to replace existing bandit calipers but that I have no calipers at all currently :) The aution has finished now, yhey went for $40 so would have been a cheap set of brakes, I'll keep my eyes open now for those you've suggested

cheers

Go for Tokico 4 pots... put them on my 90 750 and I'm impressed.

I think that's the way I'll go, the 4 pots that is. My old man races a Bandit down in Adelaide and on the stock brakes it would still nail 'real' sports bikes under brakes (the Ohlins front and back helps a bit there). They did fade after a long race so he upgraded to 6 pots but for the road the 4 pots are perfect

Tokico RGV brakes will swap perfectly on to Bandit.

The feel of them will be a Tad wooden compared to the Nissin Caliper otherwise no probs.

Six pots will feel similar to the Tokico's but wil pull up better under more harsh conditions.

My 5c worth.

Can someone confirm then if the Bandit 1200 forks have 63mm mounting centres for the calipers or is it 90mm. Thanks in advance

What is the mounting bolt lug spacing on the Bandit legs?

that's my question, I don't have the forks yet but if they are 63mm I might pick up the calipers in advance, 36 minutes to go

90mm i think, I'll check when i get home. I haven't tried the RGV calipers but i like the 6 pots better than the 4 pots, just make sure that you use the matched master cylinder for what ever you end up going with. That's my 2c of wisdom.
