Well, I had my VFR750 for sale, it didn't sell so I'm keeping it. My creative juices will be plumbed into a new project :) I would have loved to ditch the VFR and get a fighter so I could get another wild bike out there on the roads.... But, I spose you can't have everything, can you...?
And, I must say, there is a kinda nice feeling to being able to just thumb the starter on a stock reliable bike and just head out for a ride with no worries - unlike my last few rides...
So, hopefully a few bling bits, new pipe/mirrors/pegs ect on the VFR, and spend the shed time on this absolute weapon!!!

I have bought myself a 1972 Honda CB500/4 Period 4 road race bike. I am going to give it a full chassis and engine rebuild. All the things I like about building fighters I can do to this bike. It won't be a class winning hell raiser (that would be very $$$), but it will look horn, sound horn, and go good. Enabling many hours of fun.
Once rebuild, a classic Honda red/white paint job (prolly with new seat unit and maybe bikini screen) - something like this...

So, forgive me if I turn up to rides or AFR (although I can't make it this year) on a plastic fantastic, but there's no speed limit on the track :D :D :D
