ride idea

I've just got home from the pub and thought i would toss this idea at the Vic and SA guys for a ride, I know the bloke who owns the Merino pub, it's out in the middle of nowhere amongst some good riding roads near the western vic border not far from Mt gambier in SA, anyways this pub has a beer garden type cinema with full bar service, seems that when he bought the place it had the old picture theatres projectors and a shitload of old films in the basement, so he gives the films to the national archives and they strike a deal with him that he can show their full catalogue,so here is what i am proposing as a good weekend ride we do the twisties during the day down to Nelson or Portland or the coast roads, all close by, and retire back to the pub that evening for a beer garden double feature, say a mad max1/Stone double, of course all the locals will join to make it a memorable night (lots of single mummies) for you unmarried types;), and dirt cheap rooms, maybe its coz im half pissed but it sounds like a great first ride of the spring or summer, which will give me more than enough time to finish the cafe project:D, just a thought let me know what you guys think.

well ive spoken to the pub owner and he says he can get any film we like and its free of charge, so its only the cost of a room (dirt cheap)and our drinks(might be a bit more expensive than the room), but im not thinking about this one until around september, its as green as around here then and beautiful weather, and as bugzz said some of the best private knowledge roads in the state, add to that a town of only 300 people with a good proportion of them "alternative lifestlyers" and it makes for a good ride.

mate got sum fuel problems at the mo...pulled it down to clean it and whacked the tank back on and fuel must have been leaking from the tap...it banked up in the carbs and ended up flowing outta the k&n's..gonna sort it today...other than that she's now regoed an im on the road

Oh thats good to hear mate, its back on the road again. Thats a bit of a bugger bought the fuel though, hopefully isnt too much of a big fix for ya.
