Busa that one, Kim rode the 750 to a class record of 182 .
Jo i'm not sure i'm happy with being called fast by the ladys ;)

Pete i know you would love to do it

Bike had lots more in it, but it was weaving and flairing quite a bit and i was at the limit of my comfort , US 750 was on rails in comparison, but it was ~100hp less than i was using in that vid and on a much better surface
Large you would have liked the guy on the 2 stroke
Home cast barrels and sleeves , home built fairing,1000cc waterbottle 210mph [:p] , looking just as untidy as my 218 , said it was more scary than last time when he crashed on an airfield

Hi Greg, we got well over 200mph too.......trouble was, that was the back wheel, the front only managed 170mph:(

we are up for Bonneville though if that container deal comes off, so keep in touch and well done by the way......219mph in those conditions is pretty tough!

I was being a smartarse Greg. Those dust clouds looked like twostroke or pulsejet smoke.

That's some serious speed. Well done.

Good to meet you Steve, i think all the unballasted turbo bikes topped out at around 170,
Should have realised it was your 600 from your previous posts here,
Will keep you in the loop about Bonneville,

Rich ,figured as much but it reminded me of the impressive work Brett did with the waterbottle, and the fact he is nearly computer illeterate and developed the ideas himself from the beginning.
Is a bit pulsejet looking , but its a common trail out there.

Vid does nothing while they were waiting on the speed from the timer.

400 would be nice, 401 better, no matter what you do it could always have been a little faster..
Everyone was very keen but many couldn't plan in the short time frame from the native title agreement handshake to the race date, Hopefully will be better organised next year .
Startline is the 1 mile, timing starts at the 3 and timers at 3 1/4, 4, 5,and 6 , we mostly ran 3-3 1/4 wed and to the 5 Fri
but it was wet wherever you were.
Only guys that you may loosely call from OS were Motomax and his crew and the photographer in the pic above
One of my favs from this year with the thunderstorm threatening

Hey Greg what did you do with the bike afterwards?

Booster
18-03-2009, 09:54 PM
Washed it and washed it , 4 times so far and still finding salt... bastard stuff, aluminium is white and flour like , copper stuff is all green and cad plating is dull gray.

Or do you mean the US 750 ? which is awaiting my return :)
