OK, so you finished your ride, and its looking mighty fine indeed.

You are out there cleaning and polishing every opportunity you get, and spend hours sitting in the garden with a beer in one hand and a copy of Streetfighters mag in the other just looking at your baby, and telling your CBGZXR1 that she is better than all those bikes in the magazine.

Then one day “GASP” the unthinkable happens.

Some twat in a car pulls out in front of you, or the bike falls on its side, or some other horrible thing we would rather not think about happens, and you have to start to rebuild you baby.

Well its been over a year and you don’t remember quite what you did to the “giggling pin” to make it fit.

If only you had a manual it would be so much easier.

Well you haven’t so you are just going to have to trawl through the threads on ASF until you find what you are looking for.

Or do you?

You could go to

http://www.cutepdf.com/Products/CutePDF/writer.asp

And down load a pdf writer to your print menu, and make a pdf file of all your hard work, or even someone else’s, to refer to or even print off at a later date.

So, you did the do and down loaded the FREE (That’s my favourite 4 letter word) program and you now want to know how to go about creating a pdf.

Well here’s How.

At the top of your thread page there is a link that says PRINTER FRIENDLY, click that and a new window will open

http://www.streetfighters.com.au/forum/upload/835034750118210.JPG

Now click on print

http://www.streetfighters.com.au/forum/upload/83503475085051.JPG

In the print menue choose Cute PDF Writer, then click PRINT.

http://www.streetfighters.com.au/forum/upload/83503475087659.JPG

Now choose a name for the file, and click SAVE

http://www.streetfighters.com.au/forum/upload/83503475097855.JPG

If its a big file it may take a few moments to appear in your Documents, so just wait for a moment or two.

And there it is.

http://www.streetfighters.com.au/forum/upload/83503475015705.JPG

Now click on the file and open it.

http://www.streetfighters.com.au/forum/upload/83503475075652.JPG

And you can print off the whole thing, or scroll down to the pages you want and print off just those.

You wont have to log on to ASF every time you need to remind your self of something and you have to hand your very own work shop manual.

Enjoy.

So let me get this straight.

You are currently using Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office Picture Manager by choice?

Mozilla Firefox

It is FREE and fucking awesome. Try it once and you will never go back to Microshit.

Need I say Photoshop? Depending on your moral compass, it is easily available (and FREE) via Frostwire. :D

+1 on getting rid of all the Microsoftery in the above screenshots..

Firefox/Chrome + Picasa for image viewing/editing/uploading + PDFcreator for print-to-PDF = win.

Took your advice, and spent all day trying to get rid of Trogen's and porn pop up's off my son's laptop.

Thanks mate!
