Sounds good, i'll be there. Did 750/4's have fairings?

So they are giving away a bike as a gate prize?

For what is on offer, that is a bloody good price for the weekend. I have paid a lot more to attend other rallies that only offered a shitty campsite on the side of a hill and a tiny patch as recompense for showing up.

Shame it is so bloody far away.

Honda 4s never came with Fairings. They were the first " Superbike" and the first Jappa to have front disk brake.(I think) Prize bike looks like an F1 model Mid 70s. They had 4 into 1s standard. The main gripe was the need to remove the engine from the frame to remove the head. There was loads of go fast bits.-- 836 kits etc. I am sure a Honda freak will know. Sounds like a great w/end. music from my era as well. i will be there.

Can I guess that 5000 bikes was a bit of a long shot? How many showed?

What's going on at the back of that Z1000? Looks like he strapped on a secret agent brief case, or it's some kind of computer from the future.

Si, the record was 800 bikes in a "parade" and just over 2000 bikes turned up today.

The rules for a "parade" was no overtaking and staying in order.

Channel nine news just had a story on about the ride.

The Kwaka had a lay-down Hel oilcooler on the back.
