I don't think we know exactly how we pulled it off...It was just a right time right place sort of thing?
The crystals just went stupid, we were chasing BIG crystals and we certainly got them...LOL
Geoff the painter finished the Electric Orange at 4am this morning and we got stuck into the rest at 9 am (finished at about 5:30 pm)
I'm over the moon with the outcome to say the least...! Considering it was his first job with the crystal thing.

The headlight assembly is a KTM 690 Duke one...

KRASH

It was Alsa Corp "Crystal FX" liquid and was sprayed on through a pressurised squirt bottle and then we used a rag soaked in the product to wipe over the surfaces after spraying on the product this seemed to even out the stuff and it grew like it was posessed...

It was just straight out of the bottle we didn't thin it down at all.
The temp was about 30 degrees today and the humidity was not as high as it has been in recent weeks.

Making the crystal yourself is simple but the results are not as good as the Alsa stuff, I did a tech story on making the crystal in Rapid Oct 07 issue. I found that making your own they are a lot more temperamental and if the temp/humidity is wrong they won’t work at all.
From memory it involves fertiliser and ammonia just don’t buy them together or they call the police.
If anyone is interested I can look up the story/instructions?

KRASH I recon you’re bike look great and I can't wait to see it in the flesh at AFR

Sweet as a nut mate , this was the colour combination I was hoping for when Gibbo did my marble effect , but unfortunately ( Gotta love it now though );) it turned out a little darker almost a rusty colour
And the big crystals are awsome top marks on the build [^]
