Ok girls and boys, as you know I can't leave things alone. Thinking about a sssa on the old Bandit. Tried the search thing and nothing came up. Has anybody done one or knows which would be the easiest adaption for the job ?
Cheers. Bryn.:D

you should put a trumpy one in there

not because its easy or i know how to do it, just because i like the look of them and thats what i would fit so if you do it then i know from your build what to do :D

The trumpy arm is 284mm wide, it is offset to the chain side so you need to machine most of the width out of the right side which means you end up with almost no bearing carrier left.

Not sure how to get around that still trying to work out how to use mine.

Stay with a VFR 94/97 as they seem to be the most user friendly for conversions.

You better be quick rumor has it that a bandit riding post whore from this very site is looking to do the same mod, so if you beat him to it you win the "street cred" award!!!

Streetfighter magazine issue 178 has a feature of a 600 bandit running a rvf400 arm and 916 wheel. If you cant get a copy i could post it out if you want. macca.

That would be cool macca. Maybe just scan the pages and post em up so everyone gets a look. Makes the race/chase more interesting.
