View Full Version : CF Tail Unit - Fitted - Done !

Got to get some better bolts and stuff for a few places but it's basically finished.

Used a SV1000 tail light with a clear lens and the indicators built in.

Everything mounted up as planned and works great.

Initial impressions are that I've got a slughtly lower seat height. As for the handling it's not a huge change and I did change front brakes at the same time so it's changed the front end feel a little.

Over all I'm pretty happy with it. It took a lot longer than I hoped it would and was a lot harder to do than I planned but all good projects are like that

For those that haven't seen it, the tail unit is 2 pieces (tail and undertray).
No subframe.
3Kg total including the seat.

very nice mate. in my experience, all carbon work takes alot longer than planned.

As for the CF chassis I think I wee'd myself a little when I saw that!
