Factory dashes/instruments

Has anyone tried wiring up a late model factory dash/instrument set up instead of using aftermarket electric gauges like an Acewell??

I've always had a thing for an RS250 dash set and want to know if it could be made to work on the effie.

The Z1000 unit is a pretty good all in one as well mate, saw one on eBAy not long ago too.

soldering iron and wire cutters...anything is possible

Mate I'v got a K2 GSXR1000 dash on mine n im about to get rid of it, if ur interested let me kno! I'v also got a page wich labels every colour wire n what it is!
