The pics done the same way film is done, by taking the pics aproximately the same distance apart as the human eye, if you look closely you can see the sublte differences..(read see shadow)

You can however recreate this effect using photoshop..

The left pictures are different to the right pictures if you look close..
It doesn't work at all with the pictures that are just doubled up...
