122 mph on a normal road, on a Busa, in the rain, in traffic, heading toward a bend, his 14 year old was wearing jeans, trainers and no gloves.

I`d have sent him down for longer for being a thick ***t.

Tell you summat though....... take a look at the photo on the link ?

See the cross-hairs ? I`m 99% sure thats a laser camera.

If it is, then he might have got away with that.
Reasons are laser cameras do`nt work in the wet, the rain drops deflect the laser giving inaccurate readings. See the water spray?
Its basic science really, but the police do`nt like you to know.

Add in the fact that the cross-hairs are sighted on the bikes rear stop lamp means they can`take an acurate reading either. They have to target a flat surface not like the rounded Busa stop lamp.

So if he knew the law or his lawyer did, they might have saved him from jail ?

Know the enemy.

He's covered himself in more glory.

"When I realised what I had done I felt very ashamed and had to get rid of the bike as soon as possible — I didn't want it to happen again. In hindsight, I don't know why manufacturers make bikes that fast, they should be speed-restricted."
