Ahoy,
Does anyone here run a CRG or Titax Lever and Perch combination on their machine?
Im thinking of purchasing a CRG Clutch lever and Perch for my Effie, but i have just been told of Titax brand, (which is apparently cheaper and as good as CRG)??
Ive been to both Titax and CRG sites to check out their products, but cant find a good picture of a Titax lever and perch, do any of you run them?
Id love to see some pics and hear what you think of em!!

Cheers, Matt.

Hi mate, got any pics of the lever set ups? Do they do a clutch cable set up?
I think you should start a project thread WITH PICS of the effie or you may risk being banned!!!

I cant think of a more boring picture to show you, we have just fitted a K7/1000 rim into the s/arm with a 200 series tyre, we were able to do it so that the whole s/arm still looks stock.
If you didnt know any better, you could be excused for thinking it was standard!
Ive been scratching my head a little trying to design a different underbracing to the old usual "A/SB" type of bracing, but have said fuck it and i am currently cutting out the pieces required to get the bracing happening.
Cases and all bottom end covers etc are being painted as you read this, firstly...i got everything acid dipped then wet blasted, my painter loves me! (a good base makes for a great finish!!)
Head is pretty well complete, when i get the cases later next week Trev and i will start to assemble the Engina, all the parts are here ready to go.
The pic is one of three that i have of her ATM, the others are just pics of what she should be close to looking like, you yourself may think that not much has changed, but i assure you....plenty has.

Ive managed to source some tank pad rubbers aswell.

Are you going to run it street height or lowered? How do you get around the f/end being short, does it affect handling/ground clearance?
I got a Triumph single sider coming next week it may end up in my effie not sure if it can be made to fit. Also "possibly" scored a 636 usd f/end as well, not sure if it will work being short compared to the early gsxr usd f/end most people use. I want to keep mine with clearance for the hills.

She is going to be lowered, but not quite as low as in the first pic, thats how low she was when we punted her out in A/SB.
Never the less, low she will be, i have aquired an exhaust from a Pro Stock bike which will allow me to lower her a little more than last time, turning can be a problem.......but can be done by keeping the bike upright and turning the bars whilst your hanging off of the side.:)
Remembering that my attitude towards this bike now is that its a "Streeter", a bit like having a Camaro in the shed in which you pull out on a good day for a squirt along the esplinade, and having the caipability to blow away pretty well anything which comes up next to it! :D

As for suspension, im taking her to Peter Kerr to do my re valving and to re spring the front end as the Effies quite a bit heavier than the 1000.

As for the hills.....id rather go out to Mallala and do laps on a modern bike that handles!!
