View Full Version : a new edition to the GSXR family

picked up myself a new bike. it is a 92 gsxr 750 that competed in Superbike back in its day.

its got all the usual race gear -
marvic 6 spoke mag wheels
39mm keihn CR flat slides that were brought new in 93 but only fitted for the first time 6 months ago

139hp avgas sucking motor.
14:1 compression
520 pitch chain conversion
ohlins rear shock with a spare WP shock
near new mich pilot power raod tyres
spare standard wheels fitted with wets
spare sprockets and chains for all the different tracks
all the road gear to return it to original except for fairings
spare head, original 38mm carbs, spare race glass, front and rear race stands, 3 sets of fork springs and the list goes on.

will be taking it to Winton this saturday for its first track outing

thats 4 bike now but the black and pink bike has been sold.

this bike and spares were $3500

Nice find mate. Why did you get rid of the black and pink bike. Did Darren give it a little bit too much Turbokat love at the GP?

So is that now one for track days....one for stunting......one for streetfighting?????

i can only ride 1 bike at a time Gix.

i was using the black and pink one for track days and road duty while the s/fighter is out of action but no that i got this one i didn't see the point of having the black and pink one any more

bourght this one sunday night and had the black and pink one sold about hours later.

yeah foxy 1 for track and 1 streetfighter and the "mystery bike":D
