Fri ride to AFR

who's keen to ride down on fri morning to AFR .me and coupe of mates leavin mac's at nerang around 8
all welcome (real men ride there bikes to AFR ):D

I will be going on Friday morning but may have to work Thursday night so I wouldn't be able to leave till about 10.30.I will let you know closer to time.

i was talking to some guys and they reckon go down through beaudesert then over Mt lindsay then woodenbong, kyogle, casino?
it would be a good ride with less cops.
sounds better then just riding down the hiway.

Thats the way that I will be going in convoy with my bike, fourby and camper trailer... still ironing out the times for departure...

This is half the reason Casino got chosen, these roads are awesome.

WE are looking at Driving to the Gold coast to pick up Simon (from Gladstone) who starts work at the honda dealer at Goldie on Monday.
And the riding from there so far there is Di,Myself, Simon and two more from GLadstone We will leave fuggin early Fri morning(3am) and try to be at the coast around lunch to ride from there.(6 of us I think)plus two more Friday night.
Still waiting for painter to paint bike though...:(:(

We look like being at burleigh at about 10am on Friday, then have to unload some bikes and be good to leave around noon...Does this suit anyone else, would like to ride down with some others if they are around? Anyone have a preferred route? If not i'd like to run up over tambourine, down the goat track to canungra, out to beaudesert and down the lyons road (my favourite bit of tar, wide flowing corners and tight twisty stuff, some of which has recently been re tarred, and never seen a cop on it) to kyogle and then to casino.
