If you still need a NSW Central Coast Volunteer, my hand is up.
Also without going through all the previous mesages can we use the donation key to pay the $20 membership fee?

You can use the donation button if you like mate. The only downside to that is Paypal are thieving bastards and $20 becomes $18.02 and $50 becomes $47.50 when you withdraw it. I don't want you to have to pay more to compensate for it so I'd suggest bank deposit first, but of course I still won't complain if I have to loose a few bucks through Payapl as any donation is welcome!
Hey Si,
I ran off some sample stickers last week, can you send me your postal address so I can send em up.

Mate,
Would have loved to go along with you guys on your ride north.. looked like you all had a ball....Would have been a hell of a lot better than sweating my arse off babysitting some outdated prehistoric jets in 40 degree heat in cams and boots...
Shifts like these make me question if I love the job that much these days...

Jarrod,
When I went to the Richmond Airshow a month or so back, I noticed a big difference in attitude between the camo wearers and the blues wearers.
All the camos seemed to be relaxing and enjoying themselves...but the blues were all very serious, even the air cadets.
Do you have to be sober/serious to actually fly the jets...or is there a place for Maverick in the Air Force today?

Martin, membership was a donation of $20 (but some have given more!) and the patches are in Sharky's hands. There is a topic on it. Shirts are the best ASF ID at the mo. Check the GEAR page. If you want one you can pick it up rather than have it posted seeing as how you're on the Coast.

Oh, I don't know - I've known plenty of anal cam-wearers in my time Jarrod. And when the blokes in cams get anal about something they get REALLY FUCKING anal.....:( the anal blokes in blues tend to just be nobs/plane nerds with no idea that they really are that weird, if you know what I mean ;) 'Mostly Harmless' sums them up pretty well.
...and I'd be more nervous jumping in an Army Aviation aircraft than a RAAF one, right now.... Seems like the other 2 services should have left the magical flying machines to the guys wot do it all the time - neither of them has a real good record recently.[xx(]
