the old shock and the stabilizer bar mounts were cut off: was about to buy ducati multistrada complete set, but some seppo outbidded me, while i was peacefully sleeping [V] ...and won a noice set just for $51... have never met such a deal since then, gonna use a vfr shock i have and the old shortened stabilizer bar, at least for a while :( the moral: dont sleep when ur auction is ending [|)][|)][|)][|)][|)][|)][|)][|)]

as far as for the frame mods, still preps: more additional outfit is being made, also tubes for the engine subbie of bin bent already, must be adjusted in a day or two, the war in midgard is outragin' on!!! [^]

well, mates... some minor fuck-up's occured this time: by the moment the frame and the engine had been perfectly adjusted in the rack (about 12.30. a.m.), i found out, the subbies "legs" lenghts werent perfect at all: just one wood go, another one was too short, and other two were a tad long...i no whose fault was that: bloody karls (not our carl, but maybe his far ancectors [?][?][?]) bribed by fuckin' aces turned into the shrooms and i consumed 'em in my regular potion... [V] then they commanded to my eyes and hands to spoil the job :( no more shrooms before workin'!!! [:0] so weldings postponed until the moon die... shit happens [B)]

in fact its the second lightening - the original civic apr 10kg flywheel was replaced with the 4.5 kg urals modified one (also the teeth were made for the starter), and now its been lightened again (8mm thickness off) to give a space for the clutch disc moving... but some weight is added with the heavier disc

Mate how much HP you hoping to get out of this thing just out of interest??
What a civic engine makes about 85-100hp and looking at it its the early engine not the late model twin cam jobbie + a turbo???????
well mate accordin' to my calculations, 140 bhp @ 12psi, and if it proves strong enough for that, then could try 180+ @ 15psi on the dyno [:p] actually gunna ride it at a low boost, gonna be a street application, not for a drag race :D
originally it makes 70 bhp on a car, but after lightenin' the flywheel and zero resistance air filter and exhaust, im pretty sure itd done at least 10 bhp more in its naturally aspirated carb version. would love to dyno it just in the efi version, without a turbine... it depends on how much free time on the dyno i'll get from my dyno mate :)

Wouldn't you have better building a one off frame around a bike engine that you could have got better figures out of just with the engine with out the turbo????
And then got even more HP from turboing later.
Would have been lighter faster and looked better as well.

nah mate, would never build a bike around a cast iron block, civics werent that retarded even in late 70s [:p] my engine without its original flywheel weighs just 50kg, and 60kg - with ;) and its to late to change anythin', better run for cover :)its the metal meltdown comin' around!

here u r more specs;
engine is 420mm wide, 180mm thick (the block only), 620mm high, im pretty sure, the bikes engines of similar cc r bigger cos of the bore dia, and the head size. my whole powerplants gonna weigh up to 90kg with turbo and all, i think the cb1300 n/a powerplant weighs more, coz the cb1300 is tad heavier than mine: 236kg (the dry weight), mine was 213..., and mine has more advanced chassis - a full float monoshock, well usd forks... to be :), the rest of the conception is the same: steel frame /but the different type... now/, the steel tank /yet/, 'neo classic' bikes ;)

once again, my bike is smaller and lighter than the bloody sea bee 1300
the reason im buildin the bike is just about usin' a car engine, thats a pretty challengin' task in itself [8D]
