WATEVR: It's a 93 model, I think they didn't change much till 97.

Chris/ZX12: Yep looks like it copped a nice hit hey! You think the ice trick will work on a dint that big? Might hit you up for a number chris if I can't push it out myself.

Mate you picked up a bargain by the sounds of things. CR's are a friggin top bike. i used to have a CR125 that i did a very little bit of flat track on and then into a few enduro rides on. then it went mainly on the bike track i had a home. mind you this was all when i was a kid and i was 16yrs old. all about 9yr ago now. top bike none the less. congrats on the bargain

Looks like it's been well kept mate. Nice bike!
Has it got new plastics?

yeah the previous owner had put later model(i believe ) black plastics ont it, except the rear guard which he must have broken!! the only reason i went for a 450 was to get a better fuel range out of it as we do a fair bit of trail riding here and i was sick of cutting rides short to top up fuel while all the other pricks kept going!!

i had the "pleasure" of riding an 07 crf450 last year through some super tight forest tracks. I was ready to push it into the bush and set fire to it after about 40kms. Those things are set up super stiff, 1st was too tall and the brakes were so nonprogressive that the only thing with confidence I could do was lock the front. Yech.
Give me my soft lard arse drz tractor anyday :D
