i'm trying to get the jetting sorted for my 750 an have found plenty of info on 1100 gixxers with pods but nothing on 750's.

i'm using K&N pods MPR(i think[B)]) race system on a 92 gsxr 750 watercooled.

i'm trying not to go back to the air box if i can help it. that space is being used for battery n elec's.
went for a ride to night with new plugs clean fuel n filters after a hour or so fouled the plugs..
if anyone has done these before on a 750 an has a fix for me that'd be great.

Have a look on Old School Suzuki lostsa Suzuki knowledge there.
Are you running CV' or direct lift carbs pods can be hard to tune on some bikes with CVs I like to run the BMC twin pods on CV s
Or get it close enough then find a good Dyno it will be worth it

Have you already gone up in size with the jetting? fouling the plugs on the stock jets doesn't sound right, if anything it should be running lean due to sucking more air.

I done Doc's fighter the other week. As with every Gixxer motor I've put pods on: Pilot jets 32.5, Mains 160. Works every time. Got a mate with an L model 750 running the same set up.

still no luck. fouling plugs badly.tried 32.5 pilots n about to drop back to 122 mains.with the fatter mains its foulin plugs within 5-10min off town riding. is there any airlines that should or shouldn't be blocked?
so far i got
32.5 pilots
122 mains
needle clip at top notch

standard set up is
1&4 110 2&3 112.5 mains
37.5 pilots

When you say "needle clip at top notch" Do you mean with the needle right way up the clip is at the top or bottom groove? Also have yo set your float levels, to high a level will make them flood really badly with the lifted needles and big jets. What are your mixture screws set at? With the up sized pilots you will have to back them off, also replace the o-rings on the mixture screws if these are worn it will stuff with your settings big time.

clip right way up, its at the top notch. needle dropped to the lowest setting. floats have been done.
i'll have to check the mixture o rings this arvo.

You need the clip at its lowest position, to make the needle sit high in the slide.

but i thought you needed it low to lean it out.?

Nope, you need to richen it up, the pods flow more air so you need more fuel.

This may sound stupid but if your running Sheel fuel you'll always
have a problem with fouling plugs.

I went through the same thing trying to sort mine.

Went to BP/caltex and problem solved.

And for the record i'm running 2-3/4 turns out on the fuel screw

Needles on the bottom groove and 150 mains.
