here it is. a "little" rough at the moment, and unfortunately it'll probably stay that way for a while cause money and time say so:( and i think i'm gonna be a heretic an keep that stock front fairing. i like it like that without the other bits of crap around the engine[:p]dunno how i'll get flat bars on it, guess i'll just have to use the clipons for the mo. MX bars would be more comfortable and probably easier for me to use.[:o)]need some bits here and there so it can become my daily rider, then i'll think about what i want it to look like.

You can add flat bars to that mate but you'll need some cut aways in the fairing if you want to keep it. Seen it done many times.

Yeah pete, saw one today. I actually dropped into the sellers address and saw that he has a lot more to offer us in the way of cheap gear including fatbars, indicators, risers etc. Am in middle of finding what you guys might be interested in and will organise discounted prices.. may not be top quality like austreetfighter store, but for people on a viscious budget it helps get the basics till better can be afforded.

i tellu what pete if ur gonna keep that light ive got an idea ..to hide ur loom ..ive got the old tailpeice from the boldor i used to have.. if u were to up end it and stick the bit where the seat would go to the top of ur lamp the flicked up bit of the tail would frame ur clocks nice i reckon [and it would be free for the postage]

and while i'm at it, anyone know where i can get hold of one of those rectangular single headlights like on the bike in the pic above? i have another project on the go for the headlight and i'm starting to think a single would look better than the double on there ATM.

which reminds me, Ben if you read this, have you still got those projector beam lights in stock? if yes expect an order soon:)

Those rectangular lights are commonly used on dirt bikes for safari treks and desert races etc. Dirt Bike suppliers may be the go.

Honda XR600's had them as standard too so you could dig one up from a wrecker.

I had a GPZ900 headlight on my old GSX750. It was a bit bigger than the dirt bike ones, but heaps brighter.
