If you have the "gold" finished Barnett clutch springs in your bike I suggest you get them out ASAP (the black ones are ok)

I got a heads up from this thread on gixxer.com

http://www.gixxer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=113184

I have had them in my bike for about 1000 k's and this is the result...

got a mate up here that drags an 06 gixxer with barnet springs ( gold ) and he has had the same problem 3 broken springs, he is using standard ones at the moment untill he can find out what is wrong with the barnett ones, ( i think that the problem is now solved ) i'll give him the heads up and get him to get the other barnett springs.

If this puts you off Barnett (as it has for me) then Goodridge make a 10% heavier set that seem to be the goods.

Well if the bandit only had springs it would be a good start. One day maybe ill do the transplant

The diaphram barnet springs (or should i say spring plates) I have never had issues with for anyone who cares for it.
