are the gsxr 750 and 1000 forks the same?

as far as im aware they are exactly the same just with different spring rates and such
what about the callipers?

looking at a set of 03 750 forks atm just wondering if im better off hanging out for a 1000 set.

cheers

so were the 1000s. But they went radial in 03 so I'm thinking the 750s went radial in 04

03 1000 went radial and 04 600 and 750 went radial. 1000s has a black DLC coating on the slider depending on which year you look at. Will have to check further but I think all radial braked forks were a 43mm slider. Might have a pair of 05 750 legs hidden somewhere in the shed.

just did a quick google search, 03 750 is def not radial. so 04 750 and upwards it is :D

So we're all in agreement? Good.

Now we just wait for Sharky to tell us they weigh 80kgs more than 1977 Munch Mammoth forks..

oh dear, i thought that was just the wheels?

should i get some R1 forks instead?

or maybe some honda monkey forks?
with turbos incorporated into the cartridges to keep up with the extra weight of the bandit?
