Ducati Monster 1100 Test ride

Ducati had a Ride day on at Greenhills (Cronulla) on Saturday for the M1100S. Having never ridden a Ducati or a twin I was first in line to give it a thrash. I really was quite impressed with the bike! It has a LOT of torque! You could take off in 5th no problem I reckon! 1st gear was a bit twitchy so found mysylf ridding the back brake a bit. Nice bike, not sure I could justify forking out the $24K for it though.

Dukes are shit
Ive owned one and it was a mistake. Electrical problems and poor build quality left it fucked out after 3 years of use that was pretty tame compared to what id do on a jap bike.

Needless to say i went back to jap bikes
(ANd yes i owned a monster)
