unfortunately no, still waiting on funds for the tail end. saw that 04 r1 tail in bits for sale thread which got me thinkin but i think i'll stick with the 929 tail mainly cause it's complete and i'm finding it hard to source aluminium out here in bum fuck hollow.

o.k, so i finally got my funds togeather and purchased this tail end, just gotta work out how to attach it??? got it from pakenham motorbike wreckers, i said i'd put in a good word for him. anyhow they posted it out quick smart and i was impressed so here it is so far, just waiting for seats to arrive so i can see where to join it up. i reckon it'll look pretty sweet though

Mate ive have a very quick question for you in the pic where your doing some welding your using a mini mig yeah?????
And your doing alloy welding yeah??????
Are you using a gasless alloy roll like you can get for a mig or are you using a gas bottle rthat i just cant see.?????
Loving your work on the bike by the way;)always had a soft spot for slabbies.

damo, it's actually a mate of mine doing the welding, the welder in the pic is a remote , she's a lincoln diesel gen set welder setup running alum gas, argon i think.

Cheers mate from the pick it looks like a mini mig, which i have and was hopping that you may be able to get gasless alloy rolls.

Those type of levers will look sweet, I think Banditrod used a similar set up on his Predator Bandit and had some issues with the brake fluid spewing out of the tubes under pressure?
