It has been so hot in SA for over a week...40+ degrees Celsius

Watch out those furry cunts they will scratch and claw the heck out of anything that moves, definitely do not get in the way in mating season the wild ones can go off quick, and they are super fast when they want to be, don't let the cuddly ones in the wildlife parks confuse you.

yeah dude its not lookin good for the furry animals down that way, Most the wildlife can tell something is up and leg it, but nothing seems to be able to outrun those fires.. Ever seen what a Eucalyptus tree does when its in a fire that intense? they practically boil and explode

That's not in my back yard so I can't tell you anything about it. There is a pic in today's sun with a firefighter holding a bottle of water for a koala to drink from.

I know we'r in a drout, but we never think about how it effects the wildlife.
Its pretty dire when the animals come looking for us because they cant find water.
