Firstly select a bike that needs a vibrant colour.

Then make sure that you follow the instructions re safety. In this instance I should be wearing a facemask, but it smelt a bit like Pete's arse and my shepherds pie was providing a nice barrier so I went for it.

Always check your work for pie drippings.

Then hang it in the sunlight for a coupla hours while you keep the flies off it with angry looks

Doesn't matter how bad the colour coats look, because the clearcoat makes you look like a genious if you apply it right...

It's always best if you paint near an expert who can pick faults with your work before you go too far.:)
Anywho...if you persist and learn as you go, you can end up with something like this.

Oh yeah.
I fitted up a PCIII inplace of the II and it's already running better on the factory map.
Credit where credit's due-
Thanks to Exben for the room, equipment and patience to repeat himself when I kept asking stupid questions (turn off the fan and shut the door!:D )
Pete for directions to everything that's hidden in that den.
The hottie in the sushi shop for laughing when I order $50 worth of spider rolls and a single chopstick
Davo's brother for mixing nice paint

Looks good. Great paintjob . Get some decent pin striping & lettering on it (hassle Neo Dutch) and it will be perfect .

That's not a bad idea Wayne. I've got chrome lettering for it, but a few highlights could be the go.

VERY NICE. I like it.....[8D]
I understand the logic behind the plain grey paint not
distracting away from the frame and engineering, but it
really didn't do the bike justice.
Looks better now.....[8D]

nice transformation, I'd keep any embelishments to a minimum now apart from some text/logo on the tank. It's nicely balanced and has all that hardware to do the talking. But that's just me
