Des, I did mine yesterday.
$110 mobile.

Will test on weekends or evenings to suit. Good bloke.
I would have lost more $$$ than that by taking time off work.
Wont pass junk or stupid 330 tyres but he is broadminded...;)
I'll be using him again.

Freak,

Have you moved?

Thought you would have seen Clay as he's authorised to do them now.

Yep, moved to the dark side and i need a mobile guy,
as the 14 has no plate, and too lazy to put it in the ute.;)

One more stupid question...

On the QLD T/PORT site, it say you have to take the vehicle with you when you go to Transport Dept.

I did one a couple of years ago and didnt take the bike down with no problems.

Have the rules changed?

Yes, you say you are supposed to, and yes I think they are
entitled to see it to check frame and engine numbers.
Mate just did his van and they turned him away without it.
Guy who did my safety cert said they look at about 1 in 10.

I just walked into QLD transport and got a plate a rego over the counter
whilst the bike was sat at home (Last Monday)

Sasha did the same with her single seat rego refund,
they swapped it over, never asked to see the bike.

(both were at Greenslopes....;)....)

all of mine i have had to take down there, be it a bike or a car (12 registered vehicles in the last 3 yrs and they wanted to see every one. eng no and vin no ckeck mainly but they have only every looked at my engine numbers.
the only one i didnt have to take down was the gsxr and it was my missus that went down and transfered the rego over.

Paid EASTCOAST MOBILE SAFTEY CERTS $95 and after he left i checked the details he wrote down.

He had the wrong color (black-white), build date (04/02) and engine number(one off the head)

What a fucken joke!!!!!! [:0]

Not bad for a blue-white 03 model.....
